Mariam joined the company in 2010; she is a Chartered Management Accountant and has an MBA with Distinction from Loughborough University. She was appointed Director in 2019 and became the company's Managing Director in January 2023. With over 13 years experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, including knowledge and expertise in low-medium volume and high technology sectors, Mariam has the skills set to move the business forward.

Aran joined Datalink in June 2022. Aran is an accomplished International Senior Sales and Business Development Manager, with over 15 years of experience focused in technical and precision engineering product sales for electro-mechanical products within multiple industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Medical and Power Generation. He graduated with a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Technology from Coventry University.

Peter joined Datalink in 2004 he has progressed through various positions over 16 years and recently became our Operations Manager. Well versed in all aspects of the business he also operates as the QMS Management Representative to ensure Datalink continues to run effective systems for the benefit of our customers.

Iain joined Datalink in June of 2017 as the Production Manager. He has spent over 30 years working in manufacturing, predominantly in the electronics industry. He has worked across several manufacturing sectors including industrial, consumer & aftermarket for both OEM & CEM.

Mike re-joined Datalink in January 2022 as our Design Manager, having previously worked for us as a Design Engineer from 2011 to 2018. He has a BEng(Hons) in Electronic Engineering & Computer Science from Aston University. Mike is an experienced electronics and embedded firmware engineer, and has worked on a variety of projects across various industries, including medical devices, wireless sensor networks, and industrial control systems.

Naomi joined Datalink in August 2022. She has spent over 20 years working in various finance positions across a number of industries, therefore bringing with her a wealth of experience. She has a track record in providing high-quality results and is driven by challenge, transformation and success.

Ian has a B.Eng in Electronics from Sheffield University. He has worked on developing electronics and C firmware, mainly in the telecommunications industry. He has experience of GSM and CAT1, wifi and ISM band radio product design and fixed line telephony design. He has designed PCB and hybrid circuits using STM32, 8051 and PIC processors.

As well as collecting overly expensive guitars and playing in a band, John brings 25 years of manufacturing experience to Datalink, predominantly working in electronics and PCB assembly. As Quality Engineer, John is a qualified ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 auditor with a hands on approach to maintaining the Datalink QMS.

Shane originally joined Datalink in 2008 as an SMT apprentice. He worked his way into various roles and eventually ran the day to day activities of the SMT department as a supervisor. Shane re-joined Datalink in 2021 after exploring other process engineering roles within the electronics industry. He has recently completed his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is now a qualified lean practitioner and is continuously striving for process improvements within Datalink

James Aldrich is an NPI Engineer at Datalink Electronics, having progressed from the shop floor through dedication, curiosity, and continuous learning. With a strong background in electrical and electronic engineering, James plays a key role in NPI builds, producing clear work instructions, supporting cable assembly quotations, and driving process improvements to ensure repeatable, high-quality outcomes. Known for his attention to detail and collaborative approach, he works closely with teams to deliver reliable solutions that meet exacting standards. Outside of work, James enjoys board games and is currently studying towards his HND, with ambitions to further expand his engineering expertise.

Andy Cropley is a Production Engineer at Datalink Electronics, bringing over two decades of experience in electronics manufacturing, NPI delivery, and process optimisation. With deep expertise across SMT, PTH, and digital manufacturing systems, Andy supports products from RFQ and prototype through NPI and into low-to-medium volume production. Known for his methodical approach, strong process ownership, and collaborative working style, he focuses on delivering robust, repeatable manufacturing solutions that meet demanding quality and compliance standards.

Manpreet Singh is a Senior Design Engineer at Datalink Electronics, having been promoted into the role in recognition of his technical capability and consistent delivery. With a strong foundation in electrical and electronic engineering, Manpreet specialises in analogue and digital circuit design, PCB layout, embedded C programming, and prototyping, supporting products from initial concept through development and validation. Known for his methodical, detail-driven approach, he designs robust and reliable solutions that perform consistently in demanding applications.
